Verbund’s hydropower plants

We present an advanced architectural visualization of the central dispatch center for VERBUND’s hydropower plants. Our objective was to capture the unique character of the automated, parametric folding facade that lies at the heart of this project. As a studio specializing in high-end 3D rendering, we focused on a photorealistic representation of the technology and aesthetics that define modern real estate marketing projects.

The core element of this architecture is the dynamic aluminum facade, inspired by the Austrian river landscapes. In our 3D visualizations, we precisely recreated the parametrically generated perforation pattern derived from the natural flow of the Danube, Mur, and Inn rivers. By utilizing advanced lighting and texturing techniques, we successfully showcased how the system of moving panels reacts to environmental factors, transforming the building into a kinetic sculpture throughout the day.

Our visualizations for developers and architects do more than just show form; they demonstrate function. The renderings illustrate how the automated elements actively adapt to the sun’s position, optimizing solar protection and ventilation. This level of architectural marketing allows investors and the public to experience the project’s rhythm and visual transformation long before construction is complete.
